Technical briefings including the following sources:

AIChE CCPS Process Safety Beacon is a resource aimed at delivering process safety messages to plant operators and other manufacturing personnel. The monthly one-page newsletter covers the breadth of process safety topics.

The European Process Safety Centre (EPSC) Learning Sheets are meant to stimulate discussion on important process safety topics at operational sites, to improve competency & awareness in a pleasant format. EPSC facilitates its members to evolve from a sharing organisation to a learning organisation. The Sheets are available in various different languages

IChemE Safety Centre (ISC) Safety Lore summarise topics that the ISC believes that leadership across six key functional elements is vital to achieve good process safety outcomes. Safety Lore is available in English and other languages as well as a Podcast & Webinar and includes a What can I do section to inform duty holders on how each element plays a part.

First published by IChemE in 1974 in response to the disastrous explosion at Flixborough, the Loss Prevention Bulletin (LPB) provided a way for the process industries to share information on accidents with the intention that other organisations could learn the same process safety lessons without repeating the same mistakes.

The IChemE are also custodians of ICI Safety Newsletters prepared by Trevor Kletz and Alan Rimmer between May 1968 and October 1983 which are listed on a separate page (via the ICI logo).

The UK Process Safety Forum (PSF) publish their Learning Briefs to highlight good practice, refresh knowledge from past incidents or a relevant learning from an incident or near miss from an un-related sector.
